Este bolso que os traigo hoy tiene su pequeña historia. Hace dos años Begoña me regalo muuuchas telitas, yo le dí un montón a mi madre  y ella les ha ido dando un uso totalmente práctico, es decir una funda para el sofá, un mantel, un delantal, etc.

Al final de este  verano mi hermana Carmen echó un vistacillo a las telitas y escogió unas cuantas que le gustarón. También compró una boquilla de monedero muy original.

Esas telitas han vuelto a mi casa y en un par de tardes mi hermana Carmen y yo hemos dado forma a este bolso algo festivo. La medida de las telas marcaron el tamaño y aunque en la foto no se ve, el fondo y el lateral tienen tonos diferentes.

El interior está forrado con la misma tela que se ha hecho la flor, y la verdad, tiene su punto al abrir el bolsito.

Esta flor tan espectacular la ha hecho enteramente mi hermana, sin inspirarse en ninguna otra y aunque nunca se dedicó a la costura se puede apreciar su vena artística en el resultado final.

This bag I am showing you today has its own story. Two years ago, Begoña gave me a huge amount of fabrics, I gave a significant part of them to my mother and she has been doing lots of useful projects, I mean a tablecloth, a ponny and so on.

At the end of this summer, my sister Carmen took a look at these fabrics and chose some of them she liked the most. She also bought a very original ball clasp.

These fabrics are at home again and in a couple of days my sister and I designed this kind of festive bag. The size of the fabrics was a key factor, and, yet, you don’t see it the other parts have different tones.

This amazing flower is handmade by my sister, she didn’t need any other flower to be inspired, and although, she was not very devoted to sew, you can see how creative she is.

No sé si este bolsito va a ser tan práctico como el uso que le hubiera dado mi madre a la tela, pero de lo que estoy segura es de que va a causar sensación allá dónde mi hermana quiera llevarlo.

Bueno hermana, pues este trabajito a medias, ha sido todo un éxito, espero el siguiente……
